Get to Know Me

Movement is more than exercise. It is awareness, strength, breath and harmony that begin within us.

“After 10 sessions you'll feel the difference, after 20 you'll see the difference, and after 30 you'll have a whole new body.”

— Joseph Pilates

For me, Pilates is much more than a method of exercise — it is a passion that I continue to rediscover every day. I love movement, conscious breathing, and working on strength and body control. What brings me the greatest satisfaction, however, is sharing this passion with others and seeing them discover their own potential. Through regular practice, they develop strength, improve their coordination and balance, and, most importantly, learn to understand their bodies better.

I have been teaching Mat Pilates for several years, and the mat will always be the foundation of my practice. It is where we learn precision, stability, control and mindful movement. I have also expanded my knowledge and skills in equipment-based Pilates, including the Reformer and Cadillac, which allow me to offer an even more individual approach to each client's needs and abilities.

I have completed comprehensive instructor training in Mat Pilates and Reformer Pilates at a reputable Pilates school. I am also a qualified personal trainer, and my additional fitness qualifications and courses have broadened my knowledge of anatomy, biomechanics and effective training principles. This background helps me better understand the human body and select exercises that take each person's individual needs and abilities into account.

In my teaching, I focus on quality, precision, attention to detail and an individual approach. I believe that true progress is not simply about performing increasingly challenging exercises. It is about developing control, building stability and discovering how much we can achieve through consistent, mindful practice.

My vision is to create a studio where you not only strengthen your body, but also build confidence, find balance and learn to enjoy the way you move.

I invite you to join me on this journey, wherever you are in your Pilates practice. We will begin with your individual needs and abilities, gradually building strength, body awareness and harmony in movement.

Our story

Built around the way we wanted to train

The studio started with a simple idea: a beautiful, unhurried space where anyone — whether they're rehabbing an injury, training for a marathon or simply want to feel stronger — gets real attention from a great teacher.

We kept the classes small on purpose. With no more than eight reformers in the room, your instructor can watch, cue and adjust, so you get the precision of a private session with the energy of a group.

Two years on, we're proud of the community that's grown here: people who come for the workout and stay for the calm.

The studio

Light, quiet and unhurried

Eight Balanced Body reformers in a high-ceilinged, naturally lit room, with warm showers, a changing area and somewhere to sit with a tea afterwards.

Philosophy

AJ Pilates

A place made for movement

We believe pilates should feel as good as it is good for you. Our classes are small, your instructor knows your name, and every session is paced so you can move with intention rather than rush to keep up.

“Physical fitness is the first requisite of happiness.”

— Joseph Pilates

“Contrology is complete coordination of body, mind, and spirit.”

— Joseph Pilates
